About this video
How will the next generation tackle the global environmental crisis?
Does responsibility for the environment lie with each individual, or is there a national solution? When it takes 15,000 litres of water to produce just 1 kilogram of meat, how should we change our behaviour?
Environmentalist Hugh Montgomery urges the next generation to consider how they are going to tackle the growing global environmental crisis.
“When an ecosystem is under pressure, you’ve only got to tap it and it starts collapsing. The big pulse which will cause massive collapse will be climate change.”
Hugh suggests responsibility for the environment lies not with the current generation but the future one, and challenges the Unconference attendees to think about possible solutions.
